Hello. my name is Oleksii Oleksyshyn and I`m from Ukraine. I`m a second year software engineering student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (Master Program). I have 5 years experience of coding, 2 of them in python (participated in coding competitions, completed both scientific and commercial projects). I`m also very good at mathematics and, especially, combinatorics -- I reached top 5 at Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad, have already done some research in combinatorics and presented it at international scientific conferences. So, in Sympy I`m mostly interested in combinatorics module and would like to implement group theory algorithms and some new types of not supported yet groups. I have developed with my friends a module for groups on elliptic curves and some useful algorithms for them, and can do it for Sympy too. I started discovering group theory, when I was a high school student and also passed a relative course at university, so my knowledge is strong enough. I have used Sympy for my university project and have read the documentation and source code of combinatorics module.
P. S. I would be very glad to participate in GSoC working on Sympy projects, because I`m really passionate about mathematics. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
