Hey Aaron Meurer, My name is Prakhar Saxena. I am a second year undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi. I have a fair experience of coding in python. I have studied abstract algebra, calculus and mathematical methods during my first and second year. I would like to know what is expected from this project at the end of this summer. I think i will start by completing the unfinished work that has been previously done on this and later work on adding support for trigonometric functions. Will this be enough for a gsoc project?
I have studied books like *Advanced Engineering Mathematics* by Erwin Kreyszig and *Schaum's Outline* of *Linear Algebra.* I am currently going through *Symbolic Integration I: Transcendental Functions *by M. Bronstein and have read chapter 1. Is there anything else i need to study? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
