Hi all,
my name is Vasilis Kalos and i'm really exited to apply for GSOC with SymPy. I'm a final year undergrad student at the Department of Mathematics, University of Athens, Greece. I have finished all the prerequisites courses for my degree and i'm waiting to be awarded my diploma in September. I have been working with Python for about 5 years both for courses (Programing courses, Algebra and Numerical Analysis courses) and for my own pet projects. I also used python for my internship in the national research center "NCSR Demokritos", Nanotechnology department (for simulations and statistical analysis of nano-inprint materials). As for other expertise i have gain specialization in both theoretical and applied mathematics and i participated in a Summer school in Athens for data analyses. I am really interested in machine learning algorithms and implementations, as well as Markov chains and algorithms for Stochastic Processes. In general, i'm very passionate for anything that combines mathematics and programing. I have used SymPy for about a year for University projects and for courses such as Computational Algebra, Galois Theory and Matrices Calculus. Currently, i live in Athens, Greece. My native language is Greek but i am also proficient in English. I’ve also send you a pull request related to the issue #16318 and i would really appreciate any comments.
