Hey everyone,
Since this is my first time posting on this list, here is my basic
introduction. The queries are listed at the bottom.

*Familiarity with Python*
Over 3 Years.

*Education Level*
Current a Third Year B.Tech student majoring in Computer Science &
Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, India.

*Expertise*
Front-end and Back-end Web Development. I also possess a good mathematical
background and have also taken and completed Calculus, Statistics, and
Applied Linear Algebra courses in my college.

*Familiarity with SymPy*
A little more than basic.

*Background*
I'm from Mumbai, India. I'm fluent in English and Hindi.

*Now, moving on to some clarifications regarding the topic I want to work
on*

   1. I went through the ideas page and I saw that the Web versions of
SymPy, i.e., SymPy Live and Gamma need to be moved to a more modern PaaS
platform than Google App Engine. I wanted to know that if this issue still
of importance and if I could do a project on it? Also, let me know if this
project would be possible to do in the shortened GSOC duration of this year.
   2. I also researched some of the alternatives to Google App Engine and
found AWS Elastic BeanStalk and Lambda as the obvious ones. Are these good
platforms to migrate to according to SymPy? Are there any others which the
   mentors have in mind?
   3. Moreover, since these are paid services. So, would these be a
   hindrance to this project?
   4. At last, I would like to say that if the above project is not
possible, I would still like to work only on improving SymPy Live and SymPy
Gamma. It would be helpful if you could throw some light on the parts that
need to be improved in these and are of importance to be implemented
   immediately.

Thank you,
Yash Dekate
