SymPy is participating in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) again this year. For those who don't know, GSoC is a program run by Google that pays people to contribute to open source projects over the summer months.
If you are interested in applying, see our instructions https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-Student-Instructions and look through our ideas page https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-Ideas, and discuss the ideas with us. For those who have worked with GSoC in the past, you should be aware that Google has made some important changes to the program this year. See https://opensource.googleblog.com/2021/11/expanding-google-summer-of-code-in-2022.html. Notably: - The program is now open to everyone 18 and older, not just students. - Projects can now be shorter (175 hours) or longer (350 hours). When you look at the ideas page, be sure to consider which project length you would like to do. - The project timeline is now more flexible (see the blog post for more information). We look forward to working with everyone this year. Aaron Meurer -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
