The ChatGPT beta can already interface with Python including SymPy (see the example in the "code interpreter" section at https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt-plugins). So the question is, if we wrote a plugin, what would it add that isn't already present there?
Also keep in mind that for such a plugin to be functional, it must run somewhere, implying someone has to pay for the cloud costs. If OpenAI is already hosting a Python interpreter plugin in the cloud, I don't see why we should pay for such a thing. Personally I think we should just work to promote what is already there, so that people can see that you can use ChatGPT to interface with SymPy. If anyone has access to the Python interpreter beta and is able to play around with using it to get SymPy to solve problems, please share.
