Hi SymPy Community,
My name is Fares Shaaban, and I am a *last year* student at Faculty of science, Alexandria university. I am writing to introduce myself as an aspiring contributor for GSoC 2026. I have a strong foundation in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and have been eager to apply these skills to open-source software. To prepare for this journey, I have recently migrated my development environment to Linux Mint to better align with open-source workflows. I am currently reading through the SymPy contribution guidelines and setting up the codebase locally. My plan is to start by tackling a "Good First Issue" to get familiar with the process. I look forward to learning from you all and contributing to the project. Best regards,* Fares Shaaban* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
