POP3 and STMP are the most oldest internet protocols - commands are very simple and easily to learn (related RFCs can be finded in Synapse sources). > 1. How do you see what e-mail are on the server? I suppose you need to see list of arrived messages on server. For that purpose POP3 server have LIST command (and appropriet method in Synapse library). > 2. How are they referenced? Messages are refferenced in References field in the header (see also Message-ID field). > 3. How do you read in a specific e-mail? Command is RETR n , where "n" is number of message received by LIST command. > 4. How do you handle attachments? See TMimeMess class and its methods under MessagePart. > 5. How do you delete an e-mail off of the server? Command is DELE n , where "n" is number of message received by LIST command. Notice that message numbers are dynamically formed for each POP3 session only - POP3 server may change order of message on every session.
