Why? This is legal mime header by RFC, it is not illegal. What is best, this form of mime-version header is explicitly noted in RFC documents! Read section 4 of RFC-2045. As you can read here, I can create legal header for example like: MIME-Version: 1.(produced by Synapse)0 Yes, this header is really legal header!
