Ideas? Best idea is to read documentation and protocol definitions... and see for sample code. What about to see sample functions on end of smtpsend.pas unit? You can see how is handled this parameter here. Next reply you can found if you read definition of ESMTP protocol. See for SIZE parameter of MAIL FROM command. Short reply is: it is not length of address (of course!), but it is lenght of mail message what you wish to send! Server can have negatiove reply, if requested message is too big. -- Lukas Gebauer.
