Hi, I changed the synsock unit, so that it works under windows ce (created a file sswince.pas which is mainly a copy of sswin32.pas with the necessary changes to wince) now as well. It seems to work so far, when the wince device is online connected to the internet via active sync. I am able to connect to an imap server and query the mailboxes. But my problem is now: how to start a connection, when the network is down (the device is offline and needs to start a dial-up connection via GPRS or UMTS or Bluetooth..). I looked through the Wince API, but couldn't find the desired function. Does anybody now how to start a Internet connection in windows ce with whatever network is defined at the device ?
