Just idea... maybe is your modem initialized differently under Vista. Modems can be confugured by various ways especially about AT command result codes. Maybe your modem is configured for number results and Synaser not see requested string results and failed on this. Try to initialize your modem by ATZ, and then set string result codes by ATV1 and next you can continue with your ATH1 and dialing. -- Lukas Gebauer.
