 From what I've heard, it's "in the works". If I've understood 
correctly, the code for D2009 can be found on the latest development 
snapshot (which means that so far it is still considered very much 
beta-, perhaps even alpha-level?).

I'm sure Lukas would be interested in hearing experiences with the new 
code though? I personally haven't yet spared the buck for D2009, since 
I'm still quite happy with my current development platform. Perhaps I'll 
be paying a bit more attention when I finally do get my hands on it :)
