Sorry Amos, but is weekend here and I really not have time to study your 
case now. I can made reply for you next day evening.

Shortly: Yes D2009 is supported, but charset conversion engine is 
independent on one what is is D2009 now. You cannot mix it, and you must 
care about data assignment! UTF-8 in Synapse is not UTF-8 in D2009!
