I just bought a new dell laptop that came with Windows Vista Home Premium
and McAfee Security Center 8, and I'm experiencing some problems with an
application that my company develops. It is a simulator of marine
radiocommunications, and sends information over UDP. It is written in Delphi
7 and uses Synapse library for network communications (TCP/IP and UDP)

The fact is that when our program tries to send data over UDP, we have as
result the error code 10022 Invalid Argument. I have already gave full
access to the program at the firewall, and also I have opened the ports that
the program is using.

When I removed McAfee Security Center the program worked well. The program
can receive UDP information, but the problem is when writing to UDP.

I asked in Mc Afee forums,
http://community.mcafee.com/showthread.php?t=225197, but no one give me an
answer to it.

¿It could be the way i'm using udp with synapse? ¿Does Security center
thinks that our program could be a virus? I deactivated all options in
security center, but I still can't make it work.

I would appreciate any suggestions, i don't know where else to ask. Thanks
in advance

Best regards
