I use Synapse mainly in the email part of my app. When downloading web graphics sometimes there are spaces etc so it needs encoding and I use EncodeURL. It works well apart from the fact that sometimes (Financial Times is one offender) the url can't be encoded because it already is. What I do now is try downloading the graphic without encoding the url and if that fails encode the url and try again.
It works but I can't help feeling there's a better way - is there - if so what is it please?
