Haha, for me the forum is easier (but maybe that's because it's second nature
to me and the mailinglist is not ;) )

Maybe initially for Delphi. But I thought it was officially for fpc now too.
I have no problem going further on the list if help is needed. But I thought
there might also be people on the forum who could contribute. It's not only
fakers there ;)
The stuff about reading the data which Lukáš mentioned is definitely for the
list.
