Hi Ant It was my fault that I looked into HttpAsync sometime late August.. not realizing that what we could have used was the nio extensions in the core.. I'm not sure how I missed it... Paul and I have been trying to see how best to proceed from where we are right now, and consolidating what we have done already. I am planning to check in the code I currently have into the svn tomorrow so that people could start looking into it to make the decision. One question I have currently posted to Oleg was whether HttpCore/NIO requires JDK 1.5 for SSL. thanks asankha Asankha C.
