Hi all, Synapse team is getting ready for the release of Synapse-1.1 and we thought of doing a QA (quality assurance) build to verify that we are going to meet all the expectations of the 1.1 release. I have uploaded the build artifacts to [1]. Please note that this is *not* a release candidate (RC) - as we have not yet updated the samples and documentation, but just a QA build to begin testing feature completion. This has the following limitations.
* This build does not have updated documentation * Due to limited testing time, we are testing this only on Unix based systems using Java 1.5 i.e. this may have some issues with other environments (e.g. Windows, JDK 1.4, JDK 1.6) * VFS transport has limitations in running on Windows This build has the following new features and improvements * VFS transport * Improved NHttp transport support * Improved logging and tracing support * DBReport and DBLookup mediators * XQuery based mediation support * Caching support * Message splitting support through Clone and Iterate mediators * Improved core APIs of Synapse You all can help us in shaping up the 1.1 release by testing whether the feature you are looking for is in this release and by verifying that the requirements are met without any problem. If this build meets expectations, we are not planing to add any more features for the 1.1 release.
