Hi Christian, imho all the USE cases you mentioned are valid. However I believe that even the NO USE cases could be valid USE cases. In my experience performance is many times (definitely not always) a red herring. For instance one my want to filter the data and/or send a notification if data contains some items of interest. In this case Synapse would be an excellent tools to solve such problems.
