I guess Paul has provided you the answer you were looking for.. If you
are interested in using WS-Security with username token authentication
with your custom password callback - that would be possible as well
without further coding. Are you planning to use HTTPS on the proxy
service by any chance?

Any idea how this can be achieved? HTTPS with basic authentication by a
self written username check java class would be sufficient...
