Details:
Using Synaptic 0.60 under Ubuntu Gutsy:
Problem 1:
- Start Synaptic
- Increase Gnome default 'Application font' size
(System/Preferences/Appearance) eg. from 8 point to 10 point.
- Synaptic ignores the change until it's restarted, whereas other open apps
change immediately.
Problem 2:
- Start Synaptic
- Decrease Gnome default 'Application font' size
(System/Preferences/Appearance) eg. from 10 point to 8 point.
- Synaptic immediately responds to the change (so far, so good).
- In Synaptic, click Settings/Preferences then immediately click 'OK'.
- The font size jumps back to what it was when Synaptic was started.
- Synaptic has to be restarted to get the font size back to what you wanted.
