Hello!
I have translated Synsptic for PCLinuxOS 2007 some years ago. Every time
Synaptic's newer version was published, my translation was replaced with
an older version of translation, which contains a lot of mistakes and
very very "unusual" translation strings.
As Ubuntu uses this same old, really not adequate translation, I
contributed my translation to Ubuntu as well. At the moment my
translation is added to
http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-langpack/ppa/ubuntu jauntry main
According to my experience I'm afraid that at the next upgrade the
translation will be replaced with the old one in Ubuntu as well. That's
why I would like to join directly to Synaptic-devel translators.
