So you do have something ready for large scale or at least redundancy.
My main concern is about "if my server crash ... how my users will
sync". I may have overestimated for the 100k users, but the 10k is
real for the project we are working on, and with this kind of clients
I must have something to be sure the service won't be offline.

About 1.5 instead of 1.1, if Nick is able to provide me an APK with
this custom url support (I don't have the tools/knowledge to compile
the apk myself)

Recent Fennec Nightlies have custom FxA and Sync URL support:

They are, of course, not stable, although I anticipate this feature t be
quite stable (although not yet thoroughly tested).

I'll bump my doc writing and blog posting items up the todo list.

You can find a guide to using self-hosted services (custom server URLs) in Firefox for Android version 33 at

http://www.ncalexander.net/blog/2014/07/05/how-to-connect-firefox-for-android-to-self-hosted-services/

The add-on is at https://github.com/ncalexan/fxa-custom-server-addon and the new Accounts.jsm API that the add-on uses is documented at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Firefox_for_Android/API/Accounts.jsm.

Yours,
Nick
