Hi,

I have an hx4700 ipaq, my kernel recognizes it:
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6
usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
ipaq 3-1:1.0: PocketPC PDA converter detected
usb 3-1: PocketPC PDA converter now attached to ttyUSB0

I then try:
monster hedpe # synce-serial-config ttyUSB0

You can now run synce-serial-start to start a serial connection.

monster hedpe # dccm
monster hedpe # synce-serial-start

Warning!

synce-serial-start cannot find the dccm process.
Without dccm your PPP connection will soon terminate!

synce-serial-start is now waiting for your device to connect

----------

Then on my ipaq i see:
"Communication Error ok"
Cannot start communications with the desktop computer.
Reconnect your device. If the problem persists, see Microsofy ActiveSync Help.

any ideas?

Thanks!
George
