Hello there,

I'm following the How To at http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce/howto.php
and I've got to the point where I'm checking for the kernel module.

If I run a cat /proc/bus/usb/devices, I get the following result:

T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=ef(unk. ) Sub=01 Prot=01 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=03f0 ProdID=1c1d Rev= 0.00
S: Manufacturer=HP
S: Product=Generic RNDIS
C:* #Ifs= 2 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr= 2mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=ef(unk. ) Sub=01 Prot=01 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 64 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=0a(data ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=04(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms

>From the look of it, my machine is recognising that I've got something
made by HP, but has no idea what it is.

The ipaq I am using is an HP rx1950 running Windows Mobile 5.0

I'm running Ubuntu with kernel 2.6.17-11-generic

Any help would be appreciated, but if not, I hope this helps you guys.

regards,

Alan Rowe
