yeah did that, but I couldn't print anything useful.  All I discovered
was that is really the line!  I see a message before the unref, then the
segfault, and I don't see the message after.

more hints?

umm, didn't notice lots more noise, apart from my own emails :)  But
busy is good IMHO, means more uptake of synce :)
