The current way is just to start it in a shell. There is no magic. For
now (if you are using the SVN version) i suggest adding it to your
session.

Perhaps this is something Mark will address as part of hal-dccm?

I prefer this kind of thing not to be implemented in kitchensync,
though that is probably where the opensync people would put it. Doing
that means that multisync, gnome-sync and any other opensync client
would have to reimplement it.
