Hi, just finshed setting up a clean partnership on setting up clean opensync-config.
Also decided to use a virgin calandr to avoid strange past events which were probably causing problems in the past. The result: At first got this output from sync-engine: --------------------------------------- Exception happened during processing of request from ('169.254.2.1', 3815) Traceback (most recent call last): File "SocketServer.py", line 222, in handle_request self.process_request(request, client_address) File "SocketServer.py", line 241, in process_request self.finish_request(request, client_address) File "SocketServer.py", line 254, in finish_request self.RequestHandlerClass(request, client_address, self) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/airsync.py", line 63, in __init__ BaseHTTPServer.BaseHTTPRequestHandler.__init__(self, request, client_address, server) File "SocketServer.py", line 522, in __init__ self.handle() File "BaseHTTPServer.py", line 316, in handle self.handle_one_request() File "BaseHTTPServer.py", line 310, in handle_one_request method() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/airsync.py", line 166, in do_POST self._handle_sync() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/airsync.py", line 309, in _handle_sync self._send_wbxml_response(rsp_doc) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/airsync.py", line 99, in _send_wbxml_response wbxmldata = wbxml.XMLToWBXML(xml) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/wbxml/converters.py", line 196, in XMLToWBXML _processNode(root,encoder) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/SyncEngine/wbxml/converters.py", line 54, in _processNode After syncing a couple of times, it worked ;-) Only had a handfull of events going from evolution to the pda. But that looks fine. Strangely, some of the contacts don't get transfered. If I edit the contact in evolution (even if nothing is changed: insert a charckter, delete the chrarckter) and save it, the contact gets transfered. Any Ideas? At the moment, it seems that the IP-adress-issue is gone. Keep you updated! achim Am Sonntag, den 30.03.2008, 17:24 +0100 schrieb Mark Ellis: > On Sun, 2008-03-30 at 18:13 +0200, Achim Zirner wrote: > > Hi all, > > > > I'm currently trying to restore my sycing-system after I shot it due to > > an update... > > > > I am encountring the following popup on my pda after beeing connected > > for a while: > > "Vom Server zugewiesene IP-Adresse kann nicht abgerufen werden. > > Versuchen Sie es später erneut, oder geben Sie in den > > Netzwerkeinstellung eine IP-Adresse ein" > > > > For those not fluent in German: > > "The IP provided by the server cannot be reached.
