I can vaguely imagine what kind of backwards incompatible changes
they've made, it'll need some research.

Jonny, we'd better go with plan B, I'll sort something out for you
shortly.

How would you feel about the same solution for gvfs ? I can build a
tarball that includes the required files from the main gvfs source.
