I didn't know for sure until Dr. Gow shed some light on this. The answer is clearly yes, but I'm not sure I want to jump in to that pond...... I really appreciate the replies, and I think the best answer for me right now is to switch back to the .2x series (for 'real work') and then try to learn the .3x vformat codebase in my "free time" (whatever that is.) I will be sure to ping the list if I see/make any progress on the vformat front.
