A "refresh from client" sync does not modify data in Evolution. It only updates the server. I'm afraid you'll have to clean up that data in Evolution manually. > I use the personal contacts rather than couch DB but there was never a > problem with that before. > > Can you think of any reason it might not be working? > I deleted all contacts from scheduleworld as a test just now, did a refresh > from client, and it said no changes were necessary. Can you think why this > might be? The "refresh from client" works as intended - no local changes are made. As to why the contacts were messed up in the first: no idea. I suggest that you change your maxlogdirs property (probably in ~/.config/syncevolution/scheduleworld/config.ini) to 0, thus preserving logs from all future sessions. Once it happens again, you'll a) be able to tell whether the server or Evolution/SyncEvolution messed up the data and b) you have a backup that you can restore via the syncevolution command line. I'll keep this issue open for a while. Please let me know when it happens again, then we can have a look. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.meego.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug.
