That depends a lot on the phone. You may be lucky and it just works.

There are other tweaks that may be possible, in particular regarding
data modelling. For example, for the 7210c we get better results for
calendar synchronization when changing the Synthesis XML configuration.

That's probably one of the bugs in the OBEX transport which were fixed
in beta 2, and not related to your phone.
