This is not entirely off-topic for this list. ActiveSync is conceptually similar to SyncML, which SyncEvolution uses. For synchronization with Exchange it would be nice to have ActiveSync support. But there is no open source implementation of client-side ActiveSync that could be used in SyncEvolution or Evolution that could be used. There is z-push, but that only covers the server side. Therefore it is perhaps not difficult to support Exchange, but it certainly is a fair amount of work that hasn't been done yet. I also suspect that you want to use it for email sync; this is something not currently done in SyncEvolution at all, because typically IMAP works better. I use Evolution with Exchange via IMAP just fine, for example, some oddities in the server implementation notwithstanding. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
