I wouldn't be surprised if the Thunderbird extension was at fault. At
the moment there is no development on it and the version for Tbird 3.x
is not officially released yet. Although some binaries are circulating,
those should not be used unless for development purpose.

Consider also that the thunderbird extension at the moment is looking
for a maintainer because nobody at Funambol has spare time to dedicate
to its development. If anybody is interested please join the project
