First, have you tried using one of the existing Sony Ericsson
configurations before running the script?

Let me quote http://syncevolution.org/development/sync-phone:

syncevo-phone-config should be the last resort after checking
the Wiki and trying out configs for related devices.

In this case, http://syncevolution.org/wiki/sony-ericcson-k750i might be
a good starting point.

Instructions for adding it are in the "GTK sync-UI" section of the
"sync-phone" page.

I have no idea why it becomes so slow after that.

You can run "syncevo-phone-config" with the --source=addressbook
parameter to have it focus on just contacts. With that parameter and
--create it would give you a working config once it finds something for
contacts.

Then you can continue experimenting with calendar, if you want.
