First, have you tried using one of the existing Sony Ericsson configurations before running the script? Let me quote http://syncevolution.org/development/sync-phone: syncevo-phone-config should be the last resort after checking the Wiki and trying out configs for related devices. In this case, http://syncevolution.org/wiki/sony-ericcson-k750i might be a good starting point. Instructions for adding it are in the "GTK sync-UI" section of the "sync-phone" page. > After updating the phone's firmware I used syncevo-phone-config but > it's painfully slow: > The first 54 configs need roughly 2 seconds each for testing; the > phone says "synchronizing" for a blink, then beeps (like "no success") > and does the next test. > > With test 55/1188 it seems to actually work. You can run "syncevo-phone-config" with the --source=addressbook parameter to have it focus on just contacts. With that parameter and --create it would give you a working config once it finds something for contacts. Then you can continue experimenting with calendar, if you want. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
