No. On a source of "type = calendar" you can choose which Evolution
database to synchronize. What you mixed up is the setup of the combined
calendar+todo storage on the phone. You can't select Evolution databases
on a source of "type = virtual".

The incorrect configuration will lead to problems once you create a task
on the N86. What you describe here is different. For that I need more
information: are there error messages in the output?

Sending me a log of an attempt to send an event to the phone would be
the fastest way to root cause this issue.
