Okay thank you very much! The problem was as you explained.

I did compile with --enable-gui so D-Bus was included, too. But there is no 
libsoup package in Slackware and under these circumstances synchronization 
with libcurl seems not to work also. I compiled SyncEvolution again without 
GUI and D-Bus and then synchonizing with libcurl was working without a 
problem. So the error message was a bit missleading for me.

I have compiled libsoup and glib-networking for Slackware and with these it 
does also work when D-Bus and GUI is enabled.
