Just add them and extend the *.am accordingly if you are using
SyncEvolution 1.1. On the current master branch also extend
BACKEND_REGISTRIES in src/backends/backends.am.

It used to be picked up based on the file name, but now it needs to be

The calendar profile has an entry for RRULE which should be active in
vCalendar and iCalendar:

Run with loglevel=4 and check the HTML log files. There should be
entries about the RRULE. Perhaps the peer doesn't understand what is
sent to it?
