Another test was started this morning. Let's see how it turns out.

EXDATE should have the same value type as DTSTART. Yes, please return
EXDATE;VALUE=DATE for all-day events and EXDATE;VALUE=DATE-TIME (or no
VALUE=DATE-TIME set, DATE-TIME is the default) otherwise.

This is specified explicitly in the RFCs (IMHO), but several people at
the CalConnect event confirmed that this is how the property is meant to
be used.
