Can you test the sleep just one time to verify ?
There was already a sleep of five seconds in the tests which failed.
I've increased the delay to 10 seconds and at least some tests now
worked, for example the testRefreshStatus.

There are now also HTML versions of the .log files, with hyperlinks and
some highlighting via colors. The nightly.html does not yet link to
those, will fix that shortly.
The remaining problem seems to be the one with matching VEVENts in a
slow sync:
