The problem indeed looks puzzling. What worries me is the "Incompatible WBXML Content Format Version" - I have not seen that one before. Your setup is Harmattan sending text/calendar items (forced via syncFormat) and EDS on the server, right? Can you make a complete server-side syncevolution-log.html at loglevel=4 available to me?
