Hi,
I prepared 1.3.1 Debian packages along with new libsynthesis packages
for sid and wheezy. It would be nice if the Debian users who read this
could test the packages, and report back any issues, or even if
everything works fine.
I intend to send an unblock request and try to get this version into
the official wheezy repository.
Here are the instructions
First, add my GPG key to the APT keyring:
$ gpg --recv-key E9FBA02A | gpg -a --export E9FBA02A | sudo apt-key add
-
Then add the repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list or create a new
file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d with the following contents:
If you are using Debian sid/unstable, add this:
deb http://tikei.de/debian/repo/ sid main
If you are using Debian wheezy/testing, add this:
deb http://tikei.de/debian/repo/ wheezy main
Now, update your package lists to use the repository:
$ apt-get update
Make sure the 1.3.1 packages are available:
$ apt-cache policy syncevolution | grep Candidate
If everything is fine, install them:
$ apt-get install syncevolution sync-ui
Happy testing and regards,
Tino
