Today I got a message from funambol aka onemediahub: "..the new Windows client (v12) does not have the ability to sync notes and tasks anymore."
It seems to be a new business decision, they are moving to be more fucused on media sync. This makes it difficult to build a complete sync tool for the essentials calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. I used funambol and syncevolution and it worked perfectly. >From my point of view it's a big mistake, and my colleagues and friends agree with me. I don't need more media sync and I cannot understand why they stop syncing tasks and notes. In addition to that the new windows client v12 of funambols sync tool damaged my Outlook 2010 with the following message: "Error accessing Redemption.MAPIUtils object" This error occured again and again, also after uninstalling funambols client. I tried to repair Outlook using scanpst.exe, nothing. I tried to make a repair installation of Outlook, no success. Now the only way seems to be a complete new installation of Outlook. Please be careful, use your v11.0.8 as long as possible and do not upgrade.
