Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I postponed replying because it didn't seem urgent, but it shouldn't have taken that long.

That way, upgrading > syncevolution-activesync would automatically pull in the new activesyncd. I looked into that. However, there's one complication: each time I build a new syncevolution-activesync, I also build a new activesyncd, giving me a new version for it because (at least at the moment) the source is taken from untagged git and includes a date to make the build unique. But I don't always publish the new activesyncd binaries; I only do that when something really changed. Embedding the version number with date would force me to always publish activesynd. Or I could drop the date, but then I have problems ensuring increasing version numbers. One possible improvement would be to have syncevolution-activesync-saucy depend on the activesyncd meta package, and have versioned dependencies on activesyncd-saucy in that. So one could do "apt-get install activesyncd syncevolution-activesync" and that should install the latest versions of everything, regardless of the distro. > Graham > > P.S.
