syncevolution-kde is provided by upstream (Patrick), which is independent from the Debian packaging, which is currently maintained by me. I don't know if your error ist D-Bus or syncevolution related. What happens if you just start syncevo-dbus-server (e.g. /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/syncevolution/syncevo-dbus-server if you use amd64)?
