No, I would like to be able to choose in the schema definition if a virtual
attribute should be handled as read-only.

Here is my full usecase, that caused me to create this ticket:
1. I created a new user in my AD
2. I synchronized with Syncope (including 'memberOf' attribute, as virtual
attribute)
3. I tried to change the content of 'memberOf' in Syncope -> This caused an
error, since AD does not allow write operations on this attribute.

If I could mark this attribute as read-only, every administrator would see
directly that this attribute cannot be modified within syncope.

> Affects Versions: 1.0.1-incubating
> Environment: Tomcat 7, Microsoft 2008 Server with ActiveDirectory,

> There are situations when you can not change an attribute value of a remote
> resource, since it is read only at the remote resource. To avoid exceptions
> within syncope it would be important to set virtual attributes to read only
> also.
> This would prevent administrators of changing an attribute that can not be
> changed within the backend systems.
