Ironically they released 1.2.1 about that time and just last week 1.2.2 was released. So had they cared to listen, it would be done. While it would not help people who don't upgrade, they did fix security issues in both of those releases, so I think the majority of people with active blogs upgraded in one or the other of these releases. 1.3 is in beta. I think the admin we are hearing from in that post is Matt, one of the two lead developers. So I am not sure how good it looks as he seems to not buy my arguments.
