Well, I didn't realize they give out SVN access to just anybody ;). But seriously, maybe SVN is what's holding synfig back. Personally, I would much prefer that all patches pass through the maintainer, after being posted to this list. That way, people can comment on them and suggest changes, etc. By the way, who is the maintainer? (I'm new here).
