I suppose fink builds would be a good start, if you interested in that?
Let us know if you create some so that we can link to them on the
download page. To my mind, fink is more like a Linux distribution than
the OS X platform as such. That said, fink packages are definitely
wanted and useful, please provide them if you have the means.

My thoughts on an ideal MacOS build would be a monolithic bundle of GTK+
Cocoa (in GTK+ CVS IIRC), gtkmm, synfig and synfigstudio that can all be
run out of a .dmg or however non-fink software is generally distributed
these days (yes, my knowledge about MacOS X stuff is zero to minimal),
preferably in the form of a universal build. Basically, something that
doesn't require an uninstall process (other than deleting a file/dir).
